ABOUT THE CATSKILL MOUNTAIN CLUB

Mission Statement:
The Catskill Mountain Club is a community-based volunteer organization formed to promote responsible, safe, and sustainable outdoor recreation in the Catskill region. The CMC will increase public awareness and appreciation of the Catskill region and its natural resources, public lands, and recreational improvements by hosting outdoor recreational activities, promoting and conducting volunteer stewardship of public resources, offering educational programs, and engaging in environmental and recreational advocacy when appropriate.
