Saturday, June 28th - Trail Maintenance on the Long Path in the Northern Catskills - 9AM
Description: The Catskill Mountain Club is looking for volunteers to be part of our Flexible Trail Maintenance Team. No prior trail work experience required, just a desire to help take care of our great Catskill Mountain trails and spend quality time with friends. On this day we will work on a section of the Long Path in Greene County; actual section to be determined - we will e-mail details again before the work day. We may be able to supply a few tools, but people are encouraged to bring their own. Best tools to bring are nippers or a "golf-club-style" weed cutter. Wear gloves and bring a lunch and plenty of water.
Pre-Registration Preferred, anytime before June 29th, to Chris Olney at 518-813-9170 or info@catskillmountainclub.org. We will meet at 9am; place to be determined (but it will be in northern Greene County, probably in the Huntersfield Mountain area). No maximum group size - the more people who can help, the better!!!
